I officially have to take some rest days due to a cold bug that seems to be going around. It is definitely not the worst thing to relax and stay warm in the house.
In off season it feels OK because the pressure to train is not really there. I might still run the Fall Classic as a pace bunny (maybe in my blue skin suit???) for Jane who will run a 1:55:00 - I decided!
The rest of November will be slow as I will discuss a dedicated workout plan and schedule with my soon to be coach Jen Segger in December. I cannot wait to get more structure in my workouts. I am convinced that with targeted feedback and training schedules I can be quite a bit faster...running and biking.
In the meantime I try to help out fellow runners with interval workout design, paces and target times. Back to watching a movie... part of the recovery program.
